Penns Creek
Ron Temple and Fred Kunz have made arrangements for the rental of a cabin in close proximity to Penns Creek. This is prime time on the stream with an abundance of hatch activity and should provide a great opportunity for anyone whether you've been on the stream before or are looking for your first opportunity to explore it (Ron's a great source of knowledge). Neshannock Creek Fly Shop
Neshannock Creek Fly Shop is cooperating with Orvis to present a Fly Fishing Education Day at their shop in Volant. They will feature presentations by George Daniel from the U.S. National Fly Fishing Team; Doug Bare, Orvis' factory representative and Tom Baltz who's a Central Pennslvania guide and a well know fly tyer. Reel Recovery Retreat
For Men Recovering from Cancer
Reel Recovery is a national non-profit organization that provides three day retreats at no cost to men recovering from cancer. This year's event will once again take place at the Allenberry Resort on the Yellow Breeches in Boiling Springs PA. Daily fishing is interspersed with professionally facilitated "courageous conversations" as well as the Allenberry's super cuisine. Fishing experience is NOT required. The Masters School
Of Fly Fishing
The 26th annual school held on fabled Spruce Creek and coordinated by a good friend to the Club, Tom Zacoi of Venetia. A who's who faculty featuring Lefty Kreh, U.S. National Fly Fishing Champion George Daniel as well as Scott Loughner who many know from previous Expos and, for the second year, Aaron Beinhauer. This is an opportunity to learn from the best in the business on a private stretch of a legendary stream.
